Your Arizona SVA chapter.

As you approach graduation, how do you find a job? Which companies are known for being veteran-friendly? How do you put all of your military experience into a resume? There are likely many questions floating around in your head as you start your senior year. SVA seeks to empower you with the skills and knowledge needed to find a job you can be proud of with a company that values both you and your service to this nation.

Career Fairs

We bring in the top companies in Southern Arizona who are looking to hire veterans at our career fairs. You'll have the opportunity to share your resume, make a connection to career recruiters, and to explore your options.

Interview Workshops

Interviews can be daunting, to say the least. Throughout the semester, you'll have the chance to hear advice from our corporate sponsors on how to be successful in interviews. You'll learn what to wear, what to say, and how to answer tricky questions.

Resume Critiques

It can be difficult to translate your military experience into a civilian resume. Whether you were an infantryman or an intelligence analyst, we'll put you in front of professionals who want to help you build or improve your resume.

Get involved

SVA chapters are ran and managed by students. If you're looking to add to your experience while at the University of Arizona, we welcome you to attend our meetings and to join our ranks. We have officer positions as well as at-large members, so there is a fit for you somewhere in our club. Become involved in event planning, leadership, corporate outreach, and much more. Active members will have an opportunity to travel to the yearly SVA National Convention!
